However, the accelerated melting of glaciers is disrupting global water cycles, leading to floods, droughts, rising sea levels, and ecosystem imbalances. At ZXY, our action and progress toward mitigating climate change impacts glacier preservation and safeguarding the planet’s freshwater reserves.

We are aiming to reduce up to 20% water consumption and 25% GHG emissions by 2030.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is essential to slow down glacial retreat and sustainable management of meltwater is crucial for climate resilience. We strongly believe that sustainable water management is a shared responsibility and a must responsibility that all should have and follow.

Did you know? It takes up to 100 years for snow to turn into glacier ice. Yet, climate change is accelerating glacier melt, leading to unpredictable water cycles and extreme weather events.

In 2024, severe flooding in Bangladesh affected over 5.8 million people across 11 districts. Through our 7 Streams Foundation, we have positively impacted over 17,000 lives by providing critical disaster relief, majorly in Feni, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, and Cumilla.

Saving our glaciers is not just an environmental goal, it’s a survival strategy for both people and the planet.
